Hi folks!

I did some slight modding on two blue tenacious. I homemade stonewashed them, blade and clips, then I dyed one of those with a deeper blue. I must say I am very pleased with the results and will be moving ahead to stonewash my Sage 2 before long :)

here is a pics of the ''Tenacious Triplicity'' lol

vary nice work and your SW really came out cool,i would like to give this a try myself one day.

tks guys!

I used royal blue rit dye, but I slightly overdosed it, when I should have definitely under dosed it. It came out pretty much black from the pot and I scrubbed it with a scothbrite pad under water and it cleared up to a navy blue. Not what I was aiming for, but turns out I had this grindworks lanyard laying around and it matches perfectly...t'was meant to be lol

How did you come up with the lighter color blue? I didn't think black G-10 would be able to turn out so light.

the blue tenacious and persistence are available in blue again. I got mine on the evil auction site, there are two big vendors who have em in stock.

Slick work!
Did the stonewash remove the bladesteel/country of origin markings?

Dark one almost looks like that Powernoodle blue on the new S110V PM2.

They faded a lot, but are still there. Under the reflection of light they are clearly visible.

I'll be doing this with the 3rd one, I should have tuned the process a bit too. I just might be selling it, I'll remember to give you a heads up if so.
