First I give thanks for the life of my Son and his Wife..... my own pretty good health after hanging around 72 years..... Great parents, you bet... Being born and able to live in this country, that is the greatest engine for human good that has ever been, YESSSS.....

Living in a place where the ‘average Joe or Jolene’ can make a difference is a thankful thing...

Accidentally getting into the cutlery biz thirty + years ago is another big thank you.......

The friends I have made and continue to make in the knife word is a wonder....

I am breaking bread tomorrow with Dan and Beth Eastland and Family...Dan is Dan at Dogwood Knives and he and Beth and I are cooking up a storm and having a great time... ..Lots to be thankful for there..... A feast will be had on the morrow.... And speaking of feasts past, I have been privileged to have shared thanksgiving with a wide and diverse bunch.... One of my favorites had among others a Chinese couple and as part of their potluck additions was egg rolls and they fit in just fine with everyone else’s comfort food which, caused me to conclude that this one of two days(the Fourth ofJuly being the other) that all Americans(with a few obnoxious exceptions) can celebrate and share with enthusiasm...

I am damn thankful to all who come here to our little corner of the web and share our love and knowledge of Humankind's third oldest tool.... So thanks to all of you and may you have just a tad too much feast and be over served on love, kindness and fellowship.....e

I find myself giving thanks for my interest in knives which led to meeting Uncle E and to his willingness to share his knowledge, experience and his mountain with all of us.

Thanks, Uncle E!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I'm thankful for way too much to list here. I try my best to not take anything for granted. Tomorrow will be my smallest Thanksgiving ever. Just the wife and I, and my father in law. Going to eat well, get liquored up, and watch "Life Below Zero", haha.

I'am Thankful for being lucky to have lived a life around everything to be thankful for and I hope everyone here has too and hope you all have a Great Thanksgiving.:thumbsup:

Beautiful words, sir! I'm thankful first and above all for my loving wife, and our wonderful golden girls we have and have had, and for those people I can call friends. And thankful I'm able to learn from you all, and laugh and share in your adventures. And Mr. Becker, I’m thankful that you are someone willing to take time out of your busy day to indulge a fan. Being able to shake your hand is a day I’ll not forget.

I'm thankful for my amazing wife Terri, my family and everything my Father taught me and the love he always felt for everyone that was deserving regardless of race, religion or political views. I look forward to meeting you Mr. Becker I think you have the same values I was raised on.

Well said. We're thankful to God for carrying us through another year, and allowing us to come through relatively unscathed. We've got good health; a good home that we were able to keep after almost losing it; we got a great dog earlier this year who guards his pack (us) and his home with an almost fanatical diligence, a new job, and great friends to spend the holiday with.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you guys -

~Chris

I'm thankful for a wife who puts up with me, my hobbies, and my tool habit.

Most eloquently put Sir! :D
I am grateful for the vicarious put-up-man-ship I have enjoyed over these intrawebs!

I'm thankful that I'm alive to enjoy the four seasons year after year here in Tennessee.
I'm thankful for having such good bothers and sisters and a loving wife.
I'm thankful for all of my clients who make it possible for me to have a Thanksgiving feast. I'm even thankful for the ones that stiffed me because they taught me something very important.
I'm thankful for the tremendous variety of quality knives that are available these days and to Blade Forums who through you all opened my eyes to a much larger world than I thought was out there.
