The Things Ya Find In The Woods !!!

It's an awesome day weather wise today here on the rock so me and the pooches took off for a hike.

I wandered a little off trail today looking for a nice sunny spot to drink my tea when I came across this !!!

Looks like it must have been here quite some time as nature had now claimed it.....

Flowers were everywhere you looked, the Tiny Terror seemed to enjoy smelling them....

Not sure what this one is, maybe someone can tell me ?

Maisy's face was telling me it was time to rest !

So we stopped for a cup of tea and some EVO treats for the dogs ( they love these !)...

The Terror sunbathed while I finished off the tea...

And then we were off again.....

Yeah I've not forgot the knife shot.....My JK amongst some Fairy slippers !

Maisy looks like she needs a cold beer! Next time I get out on the trails near me, I`ll take a pic of the remains of a Model A Ford near the trail.

That Merc is cool! There is a mountain road near me that has shear cliff to a river bed below and has been the site of many a car going off the edge. I have hiked in the river bed and found bits and pieces of old cars and trucks. Some even still lodged in the brush where they came to rest half way down the cliff. I'll see if I can dig up a pic.
