The things you see at gun shows....

I've been fortunate enough to buy 2 Busse's at local gun shows. This weekend was the first time I'd seen a Swamp Rat. It was a new Rat Tail with a nice kydex sheath. When I asked the lady who made the sheath she said it came with the knife. I was wearing my T shirt from Blade 07. The one with all three companies on it in big letters. The price was $275. I just walked away shaking my head.

I saw a Mini Mojo at the last show I was at where I scored a diagonally grooved SHSHII.

I think I've seen a couple of Rats - never things I wanted at the time - at shows. Usually at above-mkt prices as well.

They either come way overpriced or grossly underpriced. There is no in between. LOL

Seriously - look at the stories people tell about 1x/yr of finding old-school Busse knives for $100 or so.

I had it happen ONCE. And not $100 by any stretch. Still worth it.

I never seem to be that lucky to find 'em at gun shows. Of course, I usually get stuck at the beef jerky tables.
