Basically, it's a leaf-shape E-Nep.

With diff "natural" handle material; bamboo root, rattan and hardwood, consecutively.

Spring steel, 10" blade . . .

Hidden tang and natural material is good as shock absorber.
And IMHO the idea behind it, is that, traditionally, it's a convenient "backyard" material, can be replaced whenever one wants.

Recently, these're my fav native blades.
And my EDC for the woods trip.

I've been using the one I got from you for years now, my friend, and it's even better than when it was new......nice and broken in now. ;)

Great trio of using tools. :cool:
 
I own 2 similar blades (one leaf, one recurve) with a third coming in, they cut like demons. I will be posting a full review soon.
