Okay, got any diagrams of this bad boy? I have the basics on how it works, but I have been eyeing it up from across the room. I know they are two vastly different knives, but I had a Kershaw Mini Mojo that turned out to be a knife I really didn't like. Is the Ti lock built on the same concept? Similar in action to Spydercos compression lock (Sal, a Paramilitary with a liner lock?). I really like the look of the Ti Lock, but am wary of the lock itself.

I want to get one too. There are lots of youtube videos out there to check out the locking action...
It is not a large knife, so I wouldn't think that you would ask a lot from it, but it is a CRK, so it will do what it is designed to do.
If you pick it up second hand, if you decide you don't like it, you can turn around and sell it for the same amount you paid

I want one oh so badly. Why doubt, its a CRK :)

I actually have one on order... should be here at the same time as my snakewoods.

No doubts here, I just don't know if it is for me. A member here lent me his Paramilitary a long time ago, and I loved the knife. Just could not get past that compression lock. I am going to see if my local dealer has any next month.

I wish there will be a lefty version. It's a shame the clip is not reversible although the locking mechanism is fully ambidextrous.

does anyone know if the clip is interchangeable with the standard CRK clip? It looks like there is a milled out area for the clip, and I was just wondering. If anyone has one, think you could take a picture of the clip recess with the clip removed? I would love to see

:)

I had the chance to check out a Ti Lock at Willey Knives on Saturday. I love the knife itself, the lock would take some getting used to.

I am looking forward to a chance to handle a Ti Lock as well, it is such a pretty design. One site that shows them for sale specifically says that 'they are not for hard use, consider a Sebenza' which I find curious, but understandable given 'The Ti-Lock is not an exercise in ultimate lock strength; it is an exercise in mechanical innovation and an illustration of a passion shared by Grant and Gavin Hawk and Chris Reeve.' This is true I am sure, but how much more/less solid than some other lock designs?

Oh, OT now: I would like to nominate silenthunter as having the absolute BEST avatar on BF; brings back lots of Princess Leia naughty thoughts.

the clips are interchangeable. However, the large sebbie's clip looks WAY out of proportion when put onto the Ti-Lock.
been there done that.
