The Ti-Pry

I like the O ring helping to keep the driver in place while in use.

Will the bottle opener be covered by the sheath? If so, I wouldn't like that concept.
 
I will try to upload a pic of the sheath I designed... it has a radiused cut out where the bottle opener is so you don't have to have the blade out while opening your favorite beverage. There is also a small cut out on the blade side of the sheath for a cord/line cutter so that the sheath an stay on for these chores too.
 
Thank you guys :D I'm pretty excited about this one... I'm thinking I will clean the drawing up this weekend and order material/ get the file to the waterjetter this coming week. There is a local knife show May 17th I would like to have a batch of 20 done for that.
 
I dont really like the o-rings. It looks like there are two different sizes holding the hex bit on and looks like they will have to slide past the chisel ground blade under some tension (to install them) and risk getting nicked. Maybe come up with a little tether for the hex bit to the blade. Just a thought...
 
Looks cool! My only suggested change is to us metric sizing rather than SAE . Almost nothing is made with SAE hardware anymore.

I would try to round the top edge some so if one pocket carries it that it not tearing up your hand when you go into your pocket.
 
it's called the Ti Pry because you are making it out of Titanium? Probably evident, but I'm not sure:confused:
 
the o rings IMO, owning many pry bars and tools like yours, will be a nightmare. Something to lose and to wear down. Also a sheath is not something necessary for a pry, again something to keep up with. These items wind up on key chains or belt loop etc. Hundreds of these on site for sale now, but everyone is trying to get into the market. Many can be purchased for < $50, while others bring far more, and for what reason?? You asked, and I wish you the best. Also add color, men seem attracted to colored gadgets, lol.
