The Toad is a well made knife!

I just received my Toad today and I am very pleased. I was concerned about the price at first, but finally got a good deal on one. This knife is really sweet. It's definitely worth the money. If you like smaller knives you really should give the Toad a try. It has a very smooth linerlock and you can take it out in public without giving a second thought about shocking people. Don't get me wrong, I like larger knives, but I really appreciate the selection of smaller knives Spyderco puts out. The Toad is an excellent example of Spyderco's outstanding craftsmanship.

I would have bet big money on your satisfaction when you were contemplating a Toad purchase a couple of weeks ago.
Everyone who sees or holds mine is very impressed.They also shock-out when they hear the price.
I have three Toads.
I got them on special when they were going for $50-$55.
Believe me, that little knife will really grow on you in the future.

You knew you'd hear from me, didn't you?! There are a few of us here who have developed a deep love for our "Toads".

It's a little difficult to explain, really. I think for me it was the absolute rock solid quality that I noticed when I first picked up a Toad. I was hooked.
