Have had this lying about for a while, sadly no time to play with it yet as my wife has been pregnant with child number 2. Anyway as I have got the evening to myself with the missus away and the 4 year old tucked in I thought Id share some pics of this not too common FF model.

First impression: It is scary:eek: Its a long slender blade that weighs next to nothing being tapered tang. It makes me wanna stab something.
Balance point is right in front of the handle slabs.
The knife in the comparison pictures is a FF Bushcrafter. Oh and no comments on my photography skills, I only take pics of my knives to share here.
Blade length: 17,5 cm
Handle length:12,3 cm

Nice blade! Man, I wonder if Andy realizes how close he is to making an actual chefs knife? This blade shape but about a half to an inch wider and he would have it! Oh well, I'll have to keep dreaming!

I would have to agree e$ but I would like my blade a fair bit thinner for my chef's knife.

I could make a 1/8th hollow ground work. Of course I would like thinner but I would gladly sacrifice that to have Andy's craftsmanship and handle on that bad boy.

2-2.5mm would be a normal thickness for a Chef so this is a bit thicker.

Sweet knife and probably a winner in a Camp kitchen :D

Now that sounds like a plan , where's Andy?
I would be using that knife in my shop

Wow! Man that is reeeeeally sweet! I bet that thing handles like a dream with that balance!

Michael Myers would love that thing, I would too. Very nice blade man. It's interesting how well balanced Andy's bigger blades are. You'd think for his bigger blades that the blade portion would be the heaviest end, but they're surprisingly very evenly balanced. Nice thread man.

Thanks guys. Im really looking at trying out a camp knife because of this.
Im usually a 9+" blade guy but I propably woulnt use a comp cutter out of fear of smacking it into a rock. The camp knife if it shares the same balance would be very capable.
