I saw this blade today, and had to order one. It looks A LOT like my Becker BK-16 on steroids. Maybe a bit more belly to it, (not sure), and thicker. Anyone have any experience with one? I wouldn't mind a thick BK-16, just for shits and giggles......And this looks like one.

If it were a bit thinner I would own one as well. It's a good looking knife.

Sorry no help for you other than I own a Tops wild pig hunter. Let me say for the money what a knife great quality and aesthetics. I emailed Tops to let them know what I thought of there product, they sent me one of their hard use tactical pens FREE!

I have one and it is by far my favorite user. The comfort in the handle isn't immediately apparent I found based on the crazy long description about the handle comfort and how it came to be on the website, but when you actually use it it's a dream. I have messed up hands, so handle comfort is paramount to me, and it is a pleasure to work with. It's a great knife, and does what a knife was designed to do really well, cut. It's a slicer and a cutter, pure and simple. Even at 3/16th's it feels like a thinner knife with the FFG. I'm really amazed more people don't try these out. They are pretty amazing. Yes, the sheath isn't great (My one big gripe with a lot of TOPS models), but get the leather sheath or a custom kydex and you will not want to be without it on your hip. I plan to replace mine eventually with a custom by the designer David Williams eventually, that's how much I like it, so I can get it exactly my way. It could do being a little thinner, but honestly unless you've only ever worked with 1/8th inch knives you will be surprised by how thin it feels the way it cuts. The thickness just makes you feel more confident in it's ability to handle tasks. It also does really well in the kitchen and around camp as a food prep knife.

My thoughts are pretty close to Grey Falcon's. It has great ergonomics, and the blade cuts very well. I carried one for a while when I was in Michigan exploring the deep freeze the winter of 2013. It did very well really. Some pics from that posted here. It's doesn't have my favorite sheath, but I prefer the flap style TOPS sheaths to the velcro ones.

Personally I like pointy blades more so than ones with a lot of belly. I wish I could get a Mohawk Hunter with similar ergos. I've had the Mohawk Hunter in this thread for going on five years. Not really crazy about this sheath either really...but I have my own preferences for sheaths.
