Well there is no time like the present for survival training so my 3 year old is starting his lessons. Santa brought him a real cool little tent. It even came with a canteen and a compass. I think I can have him starting fires using the Lincoln Logs by the end of the week :) Add his Fisher Price "Swiss Army" knife and we're all set to survive everything the great outdoors(livingroom) can throw at us. Merry Christmas :D

LOL!! Merry Christmas to the Siegle gang. Hope the little fella appreciates how lucky he is to have a Dad like you.

That living room reference wasn't all that far off this morning. Our electric power went out for an hour or so. So I dug out my 20-year-old Peak 1 model 400 white gas stove, heated some water on the back deck, and made Mrs RokJok a cup of coffee in the Bodum french press. Then we had breakfast of coffee, tea, and Christmas sweets & treats sitting on the living room couch while the wind flailed at the trees outside. Life is good, as long as the cookies hold out! ;)

Bill, Merry Christmas! Glad to hear about the little tyke's goodies. I'm sure you'll do a fine job teaching him.

My 3 year old got a set of walkie talkies. "Push the button to talk. Now let go of it when I want to talk." He'll learn.

Grandson got a swt of the motrola Talk abouts ( he is 6) be good to keep up with him on the farm. They are never too young to learn, Best Wishes Bill
