So I picked up a Tremor for $26 today...holy cow what a nice large knife for the cost...I think the "economy Chinese knife" market just got a new leader. Fantastic ergos, sharp, large, G10, and a tip up/down clip...with Assisted Opening and a flipper!

I can't find anything more to ask for from a sub-$30 knife.

Thx Kershaw!

the only thing i wish is that they would do limited versions of some of these amazing knives in the super steels. that would be awesome to see.

I have to disagree on the ergonomics. I have medium-sized hands and the handle could be a lot better...but for the price it is a great knife.

The Tremor looks incredible for a sub 30$ knife and has a great deal of personality unlike a lot of other budget knives I'm realy liking this one.

I was looking for a good assisted opening knife, and I was willing to spend what was necessary to get a knife that was made with decent materials (meaning not 420, 440 A or B, or God knows what mystery metal) and was well designed enough to be enjoyable to use. Lo and behold the best knife I could find, at least for my purposes/tastes, cost $30 delivered!

I don't need to impress somebody with how much I spent, and I don't need D2 steel to open a box. Call me what you will, I'll buy what I think is the best product at the best price. Considering that knives three and four times the cost don't seem as elegant or functional, I went with the Tremor also. Ordered it today and don't think I'll be disappointed--especially since I like my knives on the larger side, despite the extra weight.

I was so impressed with my first Tremor I bought a second one this week. Heavy duty knife with nice fit and finish for $30. How can you go wrong? Also I appreciate the fact that Kershaw actually makes a knife that fit those of us with large hands.

Love my Tremor. For those who don't like the stonewashed look, I simply disassembled the knife, used simichrome polish on the blade, and reassembled. Looks like a satin finish now. My Tremor uses all Torx (T6) screws, except the blade pivot pin screw, which is a hex (1/16" I think).

The clip on the one I have is hex 2mm if I remember right. I wish they were Torx. Very small hex tend to strip out easier than Torx.

I love stonewashed blades, the bead-blasted rust way easy.

Another vote for a fantastic knife. I have big hands, and love the way that the tremor fits em.

And I second the idea of having one usa made with some s30v or other top notch steel, would def be a buy for me

There's a lot to like with that knife. The blade shape is incredible, and I love the finish they have on it. I'm not big into the curved handle though, I think a more standard design straight handle would fit the pocket a little better.
