Hmmm, dunno who you are, your profile reveals nothing and you have 1 post (this one). You could be right, or ya could be wrong. Either way you are making some pretty strong claims agains companies and people. If you dont have something to back this up, or cant even stand up and reveal your name, then I think ya got the wrong place to post this.

Wow. Impressive. With one post, you've managed to slander two major companies, make claims which, by your own admission are unsubstantiable, and come across as a muckstirring troll.

I'm impressed. You sell Ghillie Suits, too? And while you're at it, could you explain this notch I found during a completely innocent x-ray of my Mad Dog's tang?

Ooh. Now, onward. What you say may be true. It may be a pile of fetid dingoes' kidneys. I'll never know, and frankly, it doesn't really impact my life at this time. What I DO know is that your post, while perhaps sincere, unfortunately comes across as slightly bitter, wholly acerbic, and borderline libelous. Mayhaps this might have benefitted from some sort of evidence to stand behind it?

Lacking that, it looks like you're just spewing some venom. I gotta think that this would be better either in the Whine&Cheese, or the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly...

It's true, I don't have a leg to stand on. The reason I have no evidence is that the stories are directly from a couple of the biggest names in the knife industry. By posting this anonymously, no one can get mad at anyone (except an anonymous guy), but everyone still gets the information. The purpose is to tell a story that may help others get a better idea of what is going on with Customs. The purpose was not to slander or troll (that is why I only posted it on the general boards- not the Spyderco forum, etc.), though it probably looks that way. Trolling is done to get people upset for no reason, but I don't care if people respond to this or not. I just wanted people to know so they could make up their own minds after being given a more complete picture.
 
I'd like to know a little more about your motives. Why do you feel compelled to inform us of the "truth" as you know it? Is this really an act of altruism or some kind of act of revenge? And why should we trust an anonymous post? I have zero trust for anonymous gossip. If we are to believe you, then show your face. Nothing reeks like a Kafkaesque faceless accuser.

Interesting to say the least, but as others have said: "Where's your proof, what are you true motives? Why hide your identity? Why has nothing been said before if this is true? Who cares, as long as we can continue to get fine cutlery at decent prices?(I don't run a business and have no plans to, nor do I know any of the parties identified. I do however, seriously doubt that either Sal or Les are men of such questionabe character).
Bring some proof, offer up some evidence or produce a witness with a stellar rep, otherwise, piss off(and I mean that in the nicest way

This is Quite a Tale, Truth-Seeker, interesting info there and as mentioned above it does drag several folks names through the proverbial mud....not always a good thing to do even if it were true.

Words are very powerful and the internet goes a long long way to ruin reputations, so I would hope you reconsider your previous posts and edit as needed, since this is something that will be here for as long as BladeForums is around....I would suggest to make your point regarding the problem at hand and not to bring or stir up old issues that do not pertain to the CRKT and Customs problems.

Or it just could be that with the general election coming up, every lettered federal agency is vieing for attention to justify to the incoming boss how great they are. I've seen similar things happen since 1970 when I started voting. Usually it results in J.Q.Public getting the ultimate shaft.

Can anyone else verify or debate the historical claims made above regarding interactions between Les, Sal, and Kershaw? It seems that someone on the forums should at least have information on that, if it happened. Though it wouldn't prove or disprove any allegations about what is happening now with CRKT, it could provide or detract from truth_seeker's credibility, etc.

And if BM could produce knives with Spydie holes w/o worrying about patent issues, why don't we have an Axis lock AFCK????

Thank you much Mike! I couldn't stand to read such things about people I admire and respect.

I don't believe for a second that the people mentioned would be so petty.
 
Guys it is not so much a question as to whether or not what was said was true. The question is why mention it, why mention it here, why mention it now?

I could have a personal field day using the forum to air the "Truth" about a bunch of stuff and much of it in our industry, but what good would that do? People do things for whatever reason they want and they will have to live with their decisions. I have made plenty myself and even done so right in public and made an ass out of myself but you must learn from those things and move on.

What happened between Les and Sal is between Les and Sal. I see them talking at shows and have yet to see a fist fly. Heck I still talk to Les and Sal and Sal even tried to sue me before, TWICE! Things are done for business reasons and personal reasons. My forum is not here to air these things out, if is here to better our industry, not hurt it.

So with with that, I will shut this thread down.
