ah, a new year and a new number to remember...

Great looking knife, Karl- that sweepy blade and dropped handle, not to mention killer damascus, floats my boat

Karl - those high-layer twists you do just rock. You have really gotten me interested in that pattern. Cashen told me about how cool one big twist could look in a conversation at Ashokan, but I have (had) never really seen that pattern done to the fullest until I encountered your work. Seriously, you have taken this little niche of our craft and done well with it. Not quite made it your own, that would be overstatement, but you have surely done great work, and consistently, with these patterns. I love to see someone do what they are best at! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Kevin - and Kevin.
Oh, my, and Kevin Cashen has also said that high layer, single twist is the most appropriate Damascus pattern to use when making a Quillon Dagger.
I do believe that's what I'll use when the time comes.
