Well, maybe not. The big, brown, rolling box brought me something very special today...A 7 in. Darrel Ralph Madd Maxx Bowie Blade folder!
After all, how can someone be freaked by a tool that is so minimistically well-designed and functional? The knife is sooo clean. Ultimately functional, no doo-dads, with massive titanium liners set in a carbon fiber frame. Not a slippery, highly polished frame either, but a textured version that gives a great grip as well. All I can say about the fit and finish can be summed up in one word - superb.
The knife even fits my jean pocket and feels far less bulky than significantly smaller knives I've carried.
Well, okay, I guess the average sheeple will soil his/her undies upon seeing (and hearing) that slick, 7 in. of D2 snick out and lock open like a new Mercedes door closing. An it is ominously efficient looking; there's no question about what it is capable of doing.
Do I like it? Is it worth the $$? You bet I do and it is!
I can't stop
