I`m looking get a folder that`s about 4-5 inches long when closed and weighs not much more that 150g.

It needs to work well in different outdoor activities like wood chopping(with a stick) and other general woodwork. It preferrably must handle being used as a crow bar, cutting bone or metal or being used as an ice axe in an eventual emergency. Just handle it though. I won`t use it daily for anything but general camp stuff and wood work. Price no option really, although I`d like to avoid Darrel Ralph type prices. Let`s say about $200-300.

Any favourites?

So far I`ve been eying the Tops 747 Magnum and the Cold Steel AK-47. The latter looks seems a little to short for chopping duties, though.

No folder will survive being used as a crowbar. If I were you I'd get small crowbar and some of these: Spyderco Military or Manix, Benchmade 42, Skirmish or Rukus.

However your requirements are very unrealistic:
It preferrably must handle being used as a crow bar, cutting bone or metal or being used as an ice axe in an eventual emergency
I've already mentioned crowbar. However: cutting bone and metal will seriously damage the blade of any knife. I don't know what you mean by ice axe...

BTW in this thread you can see that even big fixed blade with much thicker edge AND made of much tougher carbon steel is no good for cutting metal.

Personally, I think you may be asking too much from one tool, but that being said,...
One of the nicest looking, tough folders that I've seen are by Rick Hinderer. His XM-18 looks great.

I`m not going to cut metal with it on a regular basis. lol Probably never. It`s just if it could help save me or someone else by doing that I would offourse gladly sacrifice my knife. Think car accident or similar.

Ice axe is basically for if I broke or lost my axes when hiking.

I know I`m asking too much for one tool. But it`s a tool that I realistically will be able to carry all the time without loosing it along with the rest of my gear.

Get a small hacksaw for cutting metal, or portable ox-acet rig....

And get organized, then you won't lose it....
