Alright you people!

Do you listen to music when you do your thing or what?

What is your absolute favorite song to workout to?

I think, for me personally, it would be a song that is only a couple years old, if that.

It has such a unique rhythm, it seems to go with footwork very well...

Godsmack's "Voodoo."

And the same goes for a knife...
And, I'm a Usual Suspect.

Queen - We Will Rock You

A couple more...AC/DC - Highway to Hell
Judas Priest - Hellbent for Leather

Good old, hard Rock & Roll. If it ain't Rock, it ain't Right

C.O.'s-"It takes balls to work behind the walls "

Gotta be "Gods of Thunder, of Wind and of Rain" by Bathory, most anything by Pantera, Wolfpac, but sometimes Wagner or "O Fortuna" from Carmina Burana. Plug in any of those and give me a bowie and I go right off into my little zone.

Here are a few of my favorites to flip to:

KORN- Counting

Marilyn Manson- Rock is dead, Evolution

Insane Clowne Posse- F--- the world

Rage against the Machine- Killing in the name of.......

There's something about aggressive music that really helps me push the limits of my workouts.

Anything from Merzbow, really loud. It distracts your concentration and eventually leads to fighting your neighbours

Don--
Not sure on the Carmina Burana thing. Just downloaded it off Napster because I was familiar with it.

Clay--
You into ICP too? But I'm from Michigan too, go figure...

"Abracadabra, boom shaka-day, I'm Violent J and I'm back like a vertebrae...."
Gotta love The Great Milenko....

Red Rider's Lunatic Fringe

Nugent's Stranglehold

Crystal Method's Replacement Killers

Peter Brown's Do you wanna get funky with me?

and

Eazy E's Eazy Duz It

Any one of those songs gives me great motivation.

Lunatic Fringe is very cool...

Streetfighting Man, Gimme Shelter and Heartbreaker from The Rolling Stones.

Nuge?

"sometimes you wanna get higher, sometimes you gotta start low...some people think they're gonna die some day, I got news you never got to go..."

I want to be an airborne ranger
living on blood and guts and danger
when I marry, she will be
airborne ranger infantry.

Jingle bells shotgun shells
morters all around
oh what fun it is to be in a bunker under ground.

"Little yellow birdy with a yellow bill,
landed on my window sill,
I coaxed him in with some crackers and bread,
then I ah smashed in his ah [deleted] head."

Sorry, I could not resist pitting the Marine Corps against Army.

It's gotta be anything dark and menacing with a beat. Rob D's clubbed to death. Staind. Prodigy. Anything that get's your blood moving.

Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, old Van Halen, King's X, Pearl Jam, pre-black album Metallica, T-Ride.

Or Shaggy.

Or Blondie.

...hehehehe... ;-)

Songs to train to:

Jefferson Starship's "Jane."

AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long."

Heart's "Barracuda."

Of course, I listen to lots of different stuff when I train (mostly classic rock) and could never pick ONE favorite song. JRF.

I generally listen to offspring and metalica while working out. One of my favorites is "come out swinging"

Dont turn away, Dont turn away
Come out swingin
come out a lone
there in your way
but as long as your swingin strong
then youl get by

really gets my juices flowing

Oh, a storm is threat'ning
My very life today
If I don't get some shelter
Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away

War, children, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
War, children, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away

Ooh, see the fire is sweepin'
Our very street today
Burns like a red coal carpet
Mad bull lost its way

War, children, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
War, children, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away

Rape, murder!
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away

Rape, murder!
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away

Rape, murder!
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away

The floods is threat'ning
My very life today
Gimme, gimme shelter
Or I'm gonna fade away

War, children, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away

~Gimme Shelter
