hey all, this is my latest review of the FGX series! It's cheap, only a few bucks for each, but not cheap in quality at all! I tried throwing them too! Awesome toys to have as a CS fan! You don't need a reason for "why I need it", you only need to buy it, that's the way to go, haha! :foot:

I have a couple of them(cheap, as you said), fun novelty, but not something I'm apt to really find much use for.

I know a dude though who keeps these things everywhere, since temperatures and environment doesn't affect them. Like, seriously, he has one stashed in a flower pot on his front porch, one he has hanging in the shower, he keeps one in his freezer...

FREEZER?! hahahah! I guess he think that if and IF anyone ram into his house, he can be anywhere and still have a "weapon" to use that kinda thing. Or probably setting up the house like a game house so when zombies comes, he can just walk to this room and that room and pickup "weapons" to use, LOL! oh man~

Yeah, I'm like seriously dude, are you afraid someone's gonna come busting into your house when you're getting ready to fix you a DiGiorno or something and he just says "you never can tell".

I mentioned the Nightshade series a while ago in a thread about carrying a SD knife while jogging. I think they would be pretty spot-on, because they are light and can be tucked or taped anywhere, aren't folders (which can be difficult to deploy/deploy safely during strenuous exercise), and like the OP said, are pretty inexpensive.

Got a FGX Tai Pan to try out first before splurging on real thing. As mentioned, it is a fun toy to fool around with when you don't want to loose a finger or two.

Just wait till he sleepwalks with the munchies one night and accidentally microwaves and eats his FGX knife. :D

Ha! Just for fun ;).

I've had these for 10 years. They could do some damage for sure. Fairly robust and very pointy tips.
