Anybody else watch The Unit on CBS? I am addicted to it. Not so much the stories with the wives but definitely the guys in Delta. I have also read the book "Inside Delta Force" and would recommend it highly. I find that stuff extremely fascinating. Just curious to see if anyone else likes it.
 
Never miss it and have the first 3 seasons on DVD. It and NCIS have some of the best knife content on TV.

"Inside Delta Force" by Eric Heney is good, and also "Delta Force" by Charlie Beckwith.
 
Wife and I are big fans too. Have all three seasons on DVD as well. Try not to miss an episode, but if we do, will have it on DVD eventually, lol Definetly chock full of knives, always waithng to see what they pull out next !
 
I will have to ask for Delta Force for christmas. I remember Charlie Beckwith from Haney's book. Thanks. Season's 2 and 3 are already on my list...

Definitely good knife footage on just about every episode if you pay attention.
 
Its a great show. I dont have any seasons on DVD yet. If a football game
cuts into the showtime I try to catch it online.
 
One of my favorite shows. I have the first three seasons on DVD. I will most likely get the fourth season when it comes out.
 
I've been watching it from the very beginning on TV as the episodes aired and recently acquired the first three seasons on DVD and hope to watch them again soon. I could do without some of the drama that is included with the wives playing such a major part of the show, but it does add an additional element of realism to the show.
 
Another good movie long the same lines you guys should check out is "Spartan"

Eric Haney was a consultant on that as well, lots off knife content too !

10-4, anyone that likes the series "The Unit", will like "Spartan" as well.

Best knife related line in that movie ever!
 
Good show though Haney is no longer involved with it. Haven't seen an episode in a couple weeks, hope it gets back on track.
 
Got it on the DVD collection.

Wasn't Haney persona non grata/blacklisted in Delta because some folks there didn't like some of the things he wrote in the book and how he apparently presented himself?

BTW, a little trivia: in Spartan (yes, Haney was also a consultant) along with that well-known auto he used, remember Val Kilmer's "go bag"? The original design was from Haney himself. It's being made by these guys -

I dig the Unit, its really gotten good over the last couple seasons... That and Sons of Anarchy are my favorite shows right now.. Fringe is cool too;)
 
Totally agree on The Unit, NCIS, Burn Notice, Fringe, and just started on Sons of Anarchy.... thank god for a DVR/Tivo device!

Have not seen Sons of Anarchy yet but my Digital Hard Disk Drive Recorder gets a good work out recording all the other shows mentioned. Its great been able to fast forward thru the adverts.:D
