The Universe is toying with me....!!!!

OK...so over the last couple of days the realisation has struck me that my Swampy HRLM is MIA.... :eek::eek::confused::confused: I have been playing over in my mind the last place I had it and as best I can tell (but not 100%) it was early June on a trip out in the far west of the state. Now things have been pretty hectic since so I may be wrong. Anyway....today I have been hard at checking on all the possible locations, bags/packs/tubs etc etc all to no avail.

So I was in the spare room and figure I will pull out all my bags just to check, even one's I KNOW it can't be in.... so I grabbed a small Eagle Industries bag that I have actually NEVER used aaaaaaaand....... NO..... no HRLM.... BUT..... I did find a Scrapper5 that I have not seen in two years and which I had written off as gone (the only other knife I had ever lost)....!!!!!!! Now I have turned the house over and over looking for that blade......so what has happened.....has the universe just got sick of the Scrapper and wanted to play with the HRLM for a bit...??????

Really.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes....I know one of the women folk is going to raise the specter of me having had a "Boy Look" but my contention is NO.... the Universe is just toying with me.....!!!!! All I can say it that tit better not roll the edge on the HRLM or I will be cranky when I get it back...!!!!!! :cool::cool:
 
OK....well....yes.... but it seems "The Universe" is over that game now, just searched my Swag (Bed Roll for those of you in the "other" hemisphere) and found it tucked up where it would have been above my head when sleeping..... so all is well in my small knife family again.... ;)
 
Glad you found it. I am in the same struggle with the universe. It has my CABS. :mad: LOL

..... I feel your pain mate.... it was only last week when I went to put away another RMD and found a gap in the rack that the realisation about the HRLM started to play on me... by yesterday I was turning things upside down...LOL I did the same with the Scrapper5 a couple of years ago...I just don't know how it ended up in the bag it did.... I mean NO idea how it got there...!!!! Checking the swag for the HRLM was one of those thoughts in the middle of the night when I was turning over where I had last had it... knowing I had aired and repacked the swag after that trip made me think it was not there so basically checked about everywhere else first...!!!
