The UP SIDE to Collecting blades!

A member of our small collector's club, out here in western B.C. decided to sell his life-long collection of swords - mostly British - at the next Bonham's auction in Britain.
A nice sword ca. 1800, turned out to have a little more value than he believed!
Gary thought he'd get $ 2 to 3000.

I'm no collector but the only down side to collecting that I can see is an empty wallet. Turns out that's why I'm not a collector

ok, my collection is for sale,
I know I am a collector, because I have collected debt more than anyone, and I dont mean collecting anyone elses debt...I have literally been collecting debt! There are several"mystery" blades in my collection - by mystery I wonder just why I paid so much for them
