I was pumped to see the new revisions Matt has done to the Fire

Blade options now include the 3 D texturing of the scales and a DLC coating on the blade

Add this to the standard Titanium Chassis - Titanium Hardware - Elamax Blade and Lighting Strike Carbon Fiber Scales and you have a gentlemens (hate the word ) Tactical Folder that IMHO has no peer.

So with out further adue

Classic lines, looking clean and mean! I like it.

I am a big fan of tough yet clean looking folders, the combo is hard to pull off and Matt really did a great job.

Does Matt make the Carbon Fiber too or am I thinking of another Diskin? The scales are outstanding.

Joe, thank you for presenting the work of Matt.

With its "D.A.A" I found my urban "E.D.C" I was looking for. Discreet, he knows is to forget in a jeans pocket.

Back at Sam, I even stopped on the road I thought have forgotten him...

You know what, i'm happy ....

This updated version is the screaming end! Matt will probably be in a constant "sold out" mode on this beauty. It is definitely the best of the best in its genre.

I agree, Paul. Saving up as we speak.

Beautiful!

Thanks for the pictures, Joe.

There is nothing to not like about that one - love the deep carry clip, the blade shap is beautiful, the materials top notch - nice.

A couple of questions if you please.

Do the thumb studs act as blade-stops?
Is there a rolling bearing in the pivot?

Thanks!

Yes, the thumb stud does double duty

It has a thrust bearing

The knife is just a masterpiece

From the Ti clip that slides into its own channel ( so you never get that wobble clip) to the many other fantastic design features. Combine this with premium material and fantastic workmanship it is no wonder many makers pick this knife up and scratch their heads.

This thing has it all, and I heard many a maker say that it was the best folder they saw at the show. That's coming from makers who know what it takes to build a knife like this .

Maker, knife, materials = AA+.

This knife has to be handled to be REALLY appreciated. Kick fast opening? Well, yes; it's an auto. But.... more like a 1800 lb 32 Ford with a Big Block. It's got WAY too much power.

And that's why we like it. :D

The thing wants to jump out of your hand. Hang on!

Matt is a diminutive guy with little fingers. (NOT!) So, this feels about right to him. For us average/normal folks, it's a bit, ummmm, exciting.

I want one.

Thanks Joe -

I just found your vid too - very nice!

I'll have to keep my eye out for one of these - I am a sucker for LSCF anyway.
