NOTE: This was an email of what I saw on TV at a local Bennigan's, yesterday. I need your help, if any of you know the TV station that filmed this please let Andy know. Maybe Andy could cocntact the station and get a clip to MPG on his site!!!!

Subject: One of your hawks was used at WTC
In spite of the fact , what had happened was a great tragedy,in a way , you guys were there.
Why do I say that??
I was at Bennigans. All the TVs there had news about WTC/Pentegon. Near the end of the meal, I look up at one of these unknown cable news station. the camerman there was showing a national gaurdsman(state/unit unknown)trying to climb up the side of large wall debrise. To help himself to the top, he pulled from his LBE one of your Vietnam hawks. He "Hooked"the Blade end over the edge, and used it to help pull himself to the top. And just before they(the news people) cut away the camera show that gaurdsman surveying the area, holding that VN Hawk by his side. Why do I think it was your hawk. Who else paints their hawks with a black blade and green handles. I couldn't tell from his LBE which type sheath he carried. I didn't see the hawk until it was completely hawk out.
I asked the bartender what channel it was on, but he was of no use!! He had no clue what so ever!!!
Though what happened was truly horrible. You can , at least, go to sleep tonight, with the knowledge that you hawk was used as a force for good!!!
