The name says it all. Unlike the internet, books provide a myriad of information that has been thoroughly research before publication. Post your books, authors, and if possible, an ISBN number if you have it, here.

As I mentioned in the other thread by PayetteRucker, a list of WS&S related books would be unwieldy and would not provide any more utility than a search of Amazon, Alibris, or any of the other on-line booksellers.

For example, in the list that storl linked to above (my list), it is no longer current as more titles have been added and the list, basically, only refers to survival books. It doesn't include other related subjects. For example:

Plants (disregard the 2 letter prefix - it's just a way of keeping track :o ):

For example, in the list that storl linked to above (my list), it is no longer current as more titles have been added and the list, basically, only refers to survival books. It doesn't include other related subjects.

Yeah, yeah, I'll get to those someday. I can't help it that you have every wilderness book ever written in your lists. :p

I really should just pay someone to do it. I think having a comprehensive list with links would be very useful.

Here's a link to where you can download 'Ancient Skills' as a PDF file. Hopefully it will continue to work for a while, although it may lock up if the monthly downloads exceed a total data allowance.

"Ancient Skills" by Stephen R Coote
ISBN 0-473-08720-0

http://www.filedropper.com/ancientskillsbookmarked

I have other books to add, but my copies are packed up for a couple of months because of a house shift. I will try to remember to list their details if nobody else has by then. I recommend "The Bowyer's Bible" volume 1 for anybody interested in making their own archery gear.

Are you sure you want to do this?

Doc

We'll see how it goes. It can be unstuck if it becomes layered in chaos. While the book search on amazon has been great, I'm sure there will be at least one on here someone has not heard of before, and might not have found through a web search.
