Well as the title says, the wait is over. The FFG Sebenza came in yesterday. We all have heard how knives are described, NIB, LNIB, Perfect, Minty, 99 or 98 or what ever % they are. I have done it and I think we all have done it. It means different things to different people. Now I am not saying anyone misrepresents a knife all I am saying is we have different opinions on what a perfect or NIB or LNIB is. Well this knife was described to me as NIB and you know what......IT IS!!! I have looked at this knife in every light, in every direction and there is not a flaw in it. It is more NIB than NIB knives I have recived from dealers. MAN is it something. The blueing on the thumb stud is perfect! We all know it comes off pretty quick, well it looks brand new. I opened it once with the thumb stud and then quit. I have never held such a piece of Chris Reeves history. I am not a collector, but when I saw this for sale I just could not pass it up. I will move it along at some point to someone who can place it with other CR's knives that is deserves to be with. Here are some picture. I am not the best photographer but I hope they show how beartiful this knife is.

That is indeed a special piece. Enjoy it you lucky dog!!!!! :)
When we talked earlier about it, I was hoping it was one you were going to pass on. I'm glad to see you own a piece of history. Great keepsake !!!

Wow! That's an awesome find. Hope you are enjoying it! For being 11 years old, it really does look astounding. Even as a safe queen, 11 years is a long time, and there isn't a mark on it that I can see.

Thank you and I am enjoying it. Just looking as almost afraid to play with it. I did slice phone book paper and it is more then sharp.

Mr. Hunter. . . With all due respect, my jealousy is causing some ill-feelings towards you and your new, delicious, tasty, FFG Large BG-42 Reg.

Haha! Enjoy it sir! Go out and cut some garden hose and get it over with. Mark her up and make her yours!

I hope knowing that Kidcongo did not send me his address that the prize ( 5 year old male goat with hygiene problem ) will heal you jealousy. I do not think I can bring myself to use this one.

Very cool blade. It's rather remarkable how many different CRK's there are that I've never seen before and in many instances, never even knew existed. Thanks for sharing that unique score!

Congrats! Excellent catch, I haven't seen one of these (much less one surface up for sale) in quite a long time. Finding NIB regular sebenzas are like finding needles in a haystack these days....
