Right now I'm in the midst of finals in design school. It's 3000 miles from home and 40-70 hours of work a week depending on the work load. I get out of here December 22nd for Christmas with family in Florida, and then back home to PA for 5 weeks before spring semester.

My mom said she ordered me a Bark River PSK for Xmas.

I can't wait for the knife!

But honestly, I can't wait to see my family more!!!

Anyone else in a similar situation?

oh yeah.
ive got some mean engineering exams to hack through before the end of this quarter. no knives waiting for me at home BUT i feel you on wanting to get away from everything.
3000 miles is a long way from home (!!!) at least it seems that way to me, studying in the same state as my hometown

wild guess; do you attend USF?

I go to Academy of Art University for Product Design. It's a really odd school but it's a great program.

If you ever visit SF you will see the logo everywhere you go!

I was in pre-engineering for one semester before deciding to transfer for product design. It's another love of mine but this is the thing for me.

Good luck on your exams!
