Here I am waiting yet again for a new toy to be brought to me by the big brown truck of happines. The new toy is the new VTAC from ATC that I ordered from 1SKS.com since they were the first to list them and had the best price. I'm checking my email all the time waiting for the notice that it's been shipped even though I know they just got them yesterday. I hate that I'm soooo impatient when it comes to my orders. I almost went crazy when I ordered my Ka-Bar Kukri from Cutlery Shoppe and it took almost a month cause they had to order it from the distributor cause they had been backordered for awhile. I wish somebody would figure out the whole space/time thing and find a way for companys to teleport stuff straight to you think of all the time that would save, no more hopeing that ups/usps/fed-ex/dhl (yuck) doesnt screw up and send your order to moose ****, VA instead of your house or that some sticky fingered minimum wage shmuck doesnt decide that he wants your stuff more than you do. Oh well I think I'll check my email again :)

Trust me...This new ATC VTAC is totally worth the wait...Every minute of it!. It is the coolest Tomahawk that I've ever had the pleasure to handle!.:).

I feel your pain!
It'll probably be another week or two before my newest folder gets here. Ordered a Rapid Response Folder from www.combatelite.com after talking about it on the phone with DDR.
2-3 weeks, and 2nd day air....I started my porch-checking routine the next day

And I'm in wait of a new Tom Krein Knives TK-4 and a Lil Temperance TP.

So, on to the continuous humming of Tom Petty?

Waiting does suck. Especially when you can track your package.

It left Hodgkins IL 3 days ago! Where the $%#@ is it?!?!?

Im waiting on a Desert Camp Tramp from SRK, minimum of 2 weeks to go... soooooooo long. We need to form a support group.

On Sunday night I order my first automatic, a Benchmade 3550 Mel Pardue, and it should be delivered tomorrow.

I like the fact that it was shipped via USPS Priority Mail that way it gets here fast from California but I don't like the fact that you can't track it like you can UPS or FedEx.

I have a custom knife that is being shipped to me on Monday or Tuesday. The knife was ordered about two years ago. I have been waiting almost three years for a knife from another maker. A couple of weeks is no big deal for me.

As far as I am concerned, it is once the knife is shipped that I start getting anxious. It is not the amount of time, it is the worrying about whether the knife will be lost, stolen or for some reason seized by Customs while in transit that gets me on edge. Haven't had any problems as of yet; knock wood, but until my knife is actually in my hand I will always be a little apprehensive.

I was waiting on an order from SMKW that I placed not quite a week ago and last night I couldn't stand it anymore and emailed asking about my order. When I checked my email early this afternoon, they'd sent a reply saying it was out for delivery. Probably just a little over an hour later, it arrived. And even though I only emailed once to ask, and have a right to know the information, I felt like I was nagging SMKW. :)
