I had written up some 1st impressions over at the Yard and figured I would post a little something here. I brought it out with my S5 and my best bushcrafter, my Fiddleback Forge Ladyfinger. All I did was plop myself down for awhile and process some green wood to see how they felt together. After 45 minutes of fuzz sticks, stakes and notches I am a pleased knife owner. I'm real impressed by the War Dog. The Ladyfinger is just a small step ahead as a woods knife and that says a lot about how good the Dog is! The WD is a few steps up on the S5 except for doing some light chopping. 3 really nice knives! Dan did a great job with the WD.

Nice little review. Thanks for sharing. I just received my War Dog the other day; I love the thickness and it fits the hand very nice.

Thanks, I've been a little surprised people aren't posting more on it...and who doesn't like pics? ;)

I've had it out a few times now and am real impressed. Don't know if Bussekin has another blade that's so bushy/crafty?

I'm a bit surprised more people aren't posting on it, too.
I'm very happy with mine.

Haven't had a chance to do much with it yet, but pruning suckers off my orange tree was much quicker and easier with this than with a set of pruning shears.
I can't wait to take it out into the woods, but it may be a while yet.
Here's to Dan and the WD!
