Ok....I've been in touch with the "affected parties" and have a partial list of what was taken:

  • Ratmandu
  • ASH-1 -Double Cut Black/Tan G-10
  • SFNO LE #228
  • SFNO BLK/BLK-G-10 Mags
  • HOG FSH- Blk blade Blk/Olive scales
  • ASH-1-Double Cut, Mag OD G-10
  • NMSFNO-Sage, Blk mag scales
  • Okuden Ammo Daddy Alpha-Blk/Blk
  • Okuden Competition Cutter-(cleaver type, satin finish, gray scales)
  • Buck 185-all black
  • Spartan Blades SOC-P Dagger prototype trainer-machined aluminum
  • Spartan Blades Nyx-grey/black

If you happen to see something on "that auction site", craig's list, or Blade Forums, they will likely be "located" in Puyallup, Frederickson, Graham, Tacoma or surrounding area.. I know you "local" HOGS will be able to spot someone "new" pretty easily..

I thank you all very much for your help. Prayers and smoke are most definitely helping. Should finish hardening the building today if all goes well, and be back to semi-normal operations by early next week.

smoke coming your way brother. hopefully we will find these a@@ho*e's.

that sucks bad but that was something stupid to steal, everyone will be watching out for these and I don't miss anything...
I got your back!

I was very bummed/mad to hear about the break in. We'll be keeping our eyes open for your stuff. Fingers crossed.

I hope these fine blades get recovered, but I'm honestly not going to hold my breath.

I'm also going to guess the thieves probably won't know the models and options of each particular knife they stole (unless they're Busse lovers, which is doubtful), so I'd keep on the lookout for more generic sounding sales ads, that are shy on monikers (like SFNO, NMSFNO, ASH-1, etc.) if that makes sense. They'll probably say "Busse knife for sale" or something like that with no details.

What did the RMD look like?

Too bad some dirt bag got several great blades. Hopefully "we" can take him down.

 ...And that's a partial list?? Grrrrr! :grumpy:
Jeez, that really bites. Sorry to hear, man. I'll keep an eye out too.

BTW, what's the color combo on the Ratmandu?

Hope you get them Brian.

let me know on the PM, did you get it ?

Brian you may want to visit the local pawn shops around your area. Sometimes stolen stuff has a way of showing up at them. Good luck I hope everything works out for the better. I'll keep my eyes open in missouri and on the web.

Brian,
I need to get out more often as I didn't even see the first two threads related to this. :o

Sorry to hear about what happened. Having been on the "receiving end" myself more than once, I know that one tends to take these things as a personal affront. Add to that the headache of police reports, insurance issues, customer issues, looking for the stolen items, etc. and it becomes an incredible burden. Sorry you are having to go through all of that. I'll definitely be sending smoke and prayers your way. Hopefully, something good will come out of this difficult time.

brian, that is jacked up, hope that they catch them and they are prosecuted, let us know and you are in my thoughts, take care and don't stress over the loss of material items, as tough as it is they can be replaced!!

Definately try the pawn shops....they are unlikely to know what they have....so more than likely will try to offload them there....

Thanks very much for the support guys!

I did a "pawn crawl" yesterday and have another one planned for next week. Also have an acquaintance in the "pawn industry" who is making a call or 2 (If they know stuff is hot at his shop, they just take it and contact the police and/or owner). Also have a flea-market and one other shop to check tomorrow.

Bright side is that it could have been sooooo much worse. It would now require "extra ordinary effort" to breach the shop now, and by golly that type of effort will wake up at least one armed and angry neighbor. By the time I'm done I think everyone in a 2 block radius will be aware that "something isn't right".

The shop is also getting a really good cleaning as I go about my "improvements" so it'll once again be a true pleasure to work in it....:D

Thats good to hear Brian, keep your head up and your eyes and ears open. Those knives will show up sooner or later somewhere. Busse knives are definitley not your typical knives you see every day. I've been to a ton of gunshows in Mo. and Ill. I still have'nt seen any Busse knives for sale. So they should'nt be very hard to spot. I'd just call the pawn shops in and around your area and put the word out. If these Scumbags are doper's they just could possibly turn up there. Well good Luck glad to hear your getting back on track. D,

I hope everything turns out for the better Brian. I'll definitely keep an eye out for those items here locally.
