Few days ago I made the "SAK Mini Fire Capsule" using a tiny straw, some cotton wool and Petroleum Jelly. I carry my Mini Fire Capsule on the SAK Corkscrew for emergency/survival situations...
See this if you want to see how is made http://adoricchi.blogspot.it/2015/02/sak-swiss-army-knife-mini-fire-capsule.html

Now, what for a Waterproof Fire Capsule bigger and more durable, to be used on daily base to light fire in every conditions...

The Waterproof Fire Capsule burn for 2 minutes or more, see here

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a good way to carry cotton balls saturated w/ PJ that isn't messy.

Nice:thumbup: Do they take a spark when totally saturated? I thought it was best to leave a little dry at one end.

I've had this problem. When oversatursted I just can't get a spark to ignite a flame.
