Just saw the first episode, the Sand People had some awesome spears and other pole arms. One Sand Fighter who was obviously their best guy (girl? who knows, they all look alike?) had what looked like an acorn-headed war staff with a gladius blade. A lot of times I can identify tv show and movie weapons but these were all new designs, pretty good show.

I like the show (with mandalorian) how faithful they are to include some of the original designs. I remember they had similar weapons in the original movie but I could remember wrong. The club/staff reminded me of spiked native american war club.

Boba Fett still carries his old blaster based on Webley revolver, his partner Fennec weapons: her rifle looks like it is based on AK or SVD and a blaster/sidearm in her hip holster is clearly Mauser Broomhandle. Do not want to spoil anything but another character that will appear in the next episodes carries a gun which to me looks like Barrett M82 in disguise.

Yeah no problems, I am watching the show. :) I have to say that the scooter gang was gringe as heck though.

Gaderffi or gaffi stick, a prop weapon that dates back to the 1976 Star Wars: A New Hope, where the Tusken Raiders were identically equipped. Which makes sense, as The Book of Boba Fett takes place probably less than ten years after Star Wars: A New Hope.

The DL-44 blaster prop has been based off a kitbashed Mauser C96 and also dates back to 1976, as Han Solo's blaster pistol is the same basic prop.

It was a little cringy, but George Lucas is known to be into 50's type stuff (look at the bright colors of the vehicles in the prequels) and the speeder bikes were supposed to be a nod in that direction, especially now that Lucas has stepped back into the fold specifically with Filoni and Favreau. However, I wouldn't think such brightly colored vehicles would be a good idea on a desert planet.

I've liked the Book of Boba Fett thus far, and I'm glad they've for the most part stuck with the classic weapons from the original trilogy that BF and others used.

Some have complained that Temeura Morrison's acting is too wooden, but in my opinion, its perfect as BF is not the most expressive character. I do think Ming Na-Wen is doing a fantastic job as Fennec, and in a lot of ways she carries the show.

Agreed, the cast of Boba Fett is doing a very good job. I can deal with scooter gang as long as Krrsantan character will get more screen time!!!
I think he'll eventually join the Boba Team. You could tell he was pretty confused about what happened at the end of that episode.
