I would like to share my sole authorship liner lock folder here with you.
This has been by far the most challenging project I have ever undertaken.
The knife will be exhibited at the Brooklyn Knife Show 2-4 December in Pretoria, South Africa.
The knife including the engraving took 176 hours of labour to complete.
6.9 grams of fine gold was used for the inlays
roughly 0.5 grams of fine silver was used for the inlays.
Your comments welcome!

Hi Jan,

Welcome to Bladeforums! Thanks for joining. I hope you become more successful and more frequent.

I've seen and handled tons of precision folders. Yours looks to be among the top tier. No wonder you are proud. (I wish I could handle it!)

Thanks for showing us. I hope someone will cover that show. LOTS of great makers in So. Africa!

Jim

Thank you for the kind words Jim!
I forgot to mention some important specs of the knife.
Blade: Sandvic 12C27
Handle scales: Engraved and inlaid grade 2 Titanium
Liners: file worked Grade 5 Titanium with ceramic detent

I believe Nathan Reynerson from https://africancustomknives.com/ will visit the show. I am not sure whether he is a member of the forum or not.

Holy cow is that gorgeous!!! What detail work!!! Strange... I'd never have expected the spider and web to flow as well as it does with the scroll work, but it does - and effortlessly. Love it!

Thank you for the kind words!
This project was a labour of love, else it would not get finished. I only worked after hours and week ends on this. The project started in September and was finished in November.
The engraving of the spider was a calculated risk as I had never done anything this involved and intricate before. Some of the inlays in the spider body is less than 1mm across! It was also the first time that I tried my hand at Bulino engraving on a project. This now sets the bar to exceed with my next project.
My hope is to exhibit at the Blade Show one day.

It is amazing how quality photography can highlight the details on a knife.
