the weirdest thing

last night when i did a post i had 1363 posts and when i made the next one i lost 300 from the total below my name,dropped to 1064--is that weird or what--i want my 300 back dam it-lol--and i think a extra 100 should be added for pain and suffering--i worked dam hard for those 300 lost posts
 
Do post counts *really* matter in the greater scheme of things?

We may actually have to prune threads from the site soon to make the server load less than the staggering amount it is right now. If we do - you'll see <b>ton's</b> of people's post counts dropping. Ton's. So, don't worry too much about it... it's not a big deal - people should worry more about what you have to say, than the number of posts you've already made. Right?

spark,my friend the posts don't really matter--i was really only joking--i don't care if i have 1 or 10,000--only thing i care about is the pleasure bladeforums brings to me
 
Hopefully this pruning will be done in a judicious way. I would hate to lose any of the great reference material that is contained in many of the threads here.
