Okay, no real reason, but I have a nice little knife to give to somebody. It's a little Bear lockblade that somebody gave me back when I had my hand operated on and couldn't deal with a slip joint. It's a Bear executive lockback with the stag scales. The fit and finish is pretty decent, and it locks up solid, and actually holds a decent cutting edge.

I'll have Karen reach into my old bucket hat next Sunday for a name.

This give away is open to the traditional forum regulars, and I reserve the right to not include anyone cruising by for a giveaway that never posts here under normal conditions.

Carl.

Thanks for the chance! This is my entry:)

I would be pleased to own one of your knives.

i'm fairly new >.< but it would be nice to be included. I've learned a lot from being on this forum in a short amount of time. Thanks for the chance if i am allowed :)

That's mighty kind of you to offer. I've found that the circumstances in which one receives a knife can sometimes make a greater impression than the tool itself, at least until it's all broken in, sharpened, and has built up some character. Then it's even better :) Please count me in, it would be a welcome addition to a good home.

Thank you for the opportunity.

I don't want to be included in this give away---Just have a question about the fit and finish on the Bear. I have had 2, one of the 1st Heritage series. Both had poor quality and fit and finish nowhere near the Case quality. Could you send me a P M on what you think about this knife. I really enjoy your posts. I am carrying my little antique bone Case peanut for the month of June. I have a bunch, but most of the time they seem too small, as I like a 3 1/2 to 3 7/8 in size handle. They just seem to fit my hand better.

A stag lockback sounds sweet; I'd like a try.

Thanks for the chance, jackknife.

Carl, I'd like to have an opportunity at this knife. Not so much because of the knife itself, but rather because you have owned it and used it. - Ed J

Carl please allow me to thank you for all you bring to our community. I have won recently so please don't include me but please accept my thanks. This place would not be the same without you.
