Anyone catch the first episode of the new show "The Wheel"?

6 contestants start out individually in one of 6 different "Eco Zones", Desert, wetland, winter, island etc..., with some survival gear, and at a number of days they are suddenly rotated to a different zone.

First episode was decent.

I watched it last night. Not a bad show. Shon takes way too many risks that are very dangerous.

Yeah, I was surprised with his background that he just grabbed something "bean like" and ate a bunch without the faintest idea what they were.

I saw it last night. Luke, the plumber is a friend of mine, and lives 10 miles les away from me. Kinda cool to see someone you know. It's easy to say I would do this or that. I can't wait to see how it unfolds. He was gone for the while thing, but can't say what happened.

I was curious how the show would go, it does seem that they didn't pre test the contestants as much as Alone did. I mean eating random vegetation, the way fire lighting was going (using the tampon was smart yet she was sparking from far away onto zero tinder). Curious how many will last past the first change of scenery even though they have a whole camping setup with them.

Watched the first episode. Interesting concept. I haven't decided if I'll be tuning in for more.

Seriously! I was basically yelling at the TV on that one. If you don't know what it is, DON'T EAT IT! Being hungry is better than being dead.

There is quite the bit of comedy when there isn't a single SOB on that show who can even half assed throw the cast net they were provided !!!

I liked the show quite a bit. I looks a heck of a lot less scripted than the other shows out there.

Yes, tossing the cast net was cracking me up! And that guy that said he "loves making shelters" and then couldn't get it to stand up.

Actually surprised to see how many are not going to their terminal tackle when it comes to fishing, even the somewhat outdoorsy wrestler from Montana seems challenged at fishing. I can't imagine you can't flip some rocks and find some sort of critters/insects for bait in even some of the arduous regions.

I'm watching, but so far I'm not connecting with any of them. Hopefully things get more interesting as the show progresses.

Its entertaining I guess. i find myself extremely frustrated with the guy that hangs the cast net from trees. Throw the dang thing!!!! Even if it only partially opens its likely to snag something. I know throwing a cast net isn't something people just know how to do. But its not rocket science either.
