Just wanted to share that, while camping, I used my Becker BK9 to baton my firewood with, into smaller pieces. Well, i had some hardwood with some particularly nasty knots in them. Did i know better, yes i did. Did i really care, no, i did not. The reason being, that i had a whole rubbermaid container full of my knives for the WNY Gathering. So, back to the story. So, anyway, i managed to get the BK9 stuck, so bad, in the knotted hardwood, it was like Excaliber in the rock.... it would NOT move, at all, no matter how hard i hit it. Well, it just seemed like the logical thing to do---at least to me anyway, to get the rest of the family involved. So, out comes the BK7. It thought it would help it's big brother out, buttttt, turns out, it got stuck just as bad as its big brother ! So there i am, with a Becker in each end (of the wood you perverts !) & neither one would budge. Well, then i had no choice but to get the little brother involved. So, i did'nt want to hit steel to steel, so i batoned the BK2 in, point first (gotta love the extended tang :thumbup
& the wood finally said WTF-you win !! Split right in 2, but only AFTER the whole Becker family got involved !
Sorry, no pics. I was too busy sweating my
off in this 90+ degree heat & 90+ % humidity.
Just thought i'd share.
