I called these hybrids as the were ground early this year to receive my standard aged finish and cord wrapped wood slab handles but I ended up finishind them with the satin finish seen on the Spartans and a new handle style to me, cord wrap over paracord. They are all ground FFC style - a flat grind on only one side.
All are 5160 steel, slightly over 1/8" thick and sellectivelly heat treated with visible temper line.
The top one is a particularly interesting fighter I called Corisco as it is very, very light for its 7 3/8" long blade.
The three next ones are variations of my G2 knives - an Esse, a vespa and a Tanto - and have blade lenghts between 5 3/4" and 6".
The four knives on the botton pic are drop point utility knives in various sizes from 4 3/4" to 2 1/4".
I still have to resin soak these handles and put an edge on them but I am glad to be almost done as finish this blades still this year was the goal I had setuplast week. Guess you all know where I spent my weekend, right?
Let me know how you like it.
