Before I joined this great forum a few months ago, I assumed the knife I buy was the knife I had to live with. Much like steels, it was a compromise between my personal likes and dislikes. However from time spent in these forums, I discovered what could be changed and who could do the work. I took a leap of faith.

There's many many skilled people here that do quality work, but these are the ones that I worked with on this project:
Kevin@bowerbladeworks
Steve@spketch
Steve@STR

This is my thank you to the great individuals above and an example of what can be done to customize knives for newer members (like me a few months ago).

The "wired" Domino:
Ironwood scale
Stonewashed deep pocket clip
Stonewashed blade
Bronze "nuked" liners
Rounded and polished spine
Polished flipper

Glad I could be a part of this one! All the mods come together beautifully. Now you finally get to enjoy it! :-)

Everyone, thanks for the feedback!

I get a big grin on my face everytime I pull out this knife to use. I love the scale, as the rest of the mods were done to complement it. But the rounding of the spine was the biggest surprise. It adds a finished quality to the knife that's usually reserved for much higher-end knives.

Yep definitely an improvement and you picked one of my favorites.

Very nice man... I would rock that thing no problem!!
I like the dichotomy of new/old school.. slickness...

That dichotomy is what drew me to pursue getting a fine wood scale in the first place. And the domino was such a great platform to start with (for me anyways).

Again, thank you spketch, bower23, and str. You guys are awesome to work with! And thanks to everyone for such positive feedback.
