Hi guys!
I had the luck to win vanguards GA. So he was sending me these two gems from his collection.
A Hammerbrand Barlow and a KaBar Peanut
I never owned a Barlow before or even a Hammerbrand nor any knife with an acrylic handle!
Now I really start liking this material...
The knife is used, for sure. But that gives it the right character! The blade is nicely "patinaed" and full of history
The longpulls are very nice made!
The Peanut which vanguard was also sending me is really a nice knife. The shape is much thinner than on the Case 'nuts.
Here is a size comparison to the Case 'nut.
I needed to start on own thread for this. Both knives - Hammerbrand and KaBar are not available in Germany. I haven´t seen them on any shop in good 'ol Europe.
Both are workinghorses and won´t become safequeens right now. I´m glad owning such great knives.
What I wanted to add on this subforum - the generosity in this place is so great. I´ve never seen this anywhere before!
Kind regards
Andi
