Let me start off with a question:
How many knife manufacturers would fix a knife for you at no charge after you messed it up yourself?
Not many I suspect. However, that is exactly what Klötzli did for me.
I confess: I am a tinkerer who doesn't know when to stop, and a sloppy one at that. What had happened was that I just HAD to disassemble my brand new Klötzli Walker Tactical knife, a beautiful prototype no less. I messed up putting it back together again, having tried to scrape off lock-tite, damaging the thread on the pivot screws, and stripping them in the end.
So I informed the Klötzli company (over there can speak with Hans Peter Klötzli and his wife Bea directly, another thing I really like about them) and asked them if they could fix it for me. sent the knife in, and two weeks later (I hate customs:grumpy: ), the knife was delivered back to me in perfect health, at no cost!
now that is waht I call customer service
