Connected thanks to Roy Shadbolt, Harry Huyssen is a self-taught Dutch maker who I consider a friend. My F-S Beaded & Ribbed, entirely handmade, was his 4th. And his first-ever international sale. He also taught himself to make the folder depicted below by reading Bob Terzuola’s book 🤯. Enjoy these photos from my collection or from Harry himself.

I would like to add a post to this great thread. Today, on the 5th of May, it was exactly 80 years ago that our country, the Netherlands, was liberated by extremely brave soldiers that we are forever grateful for. I thought it was a good moment to place a few appropriate knives also made by fellow Dutchman Harry Huyssen that he made for me this year. I can't say enough good things about Harry, his beautiful knives and extreme knowledge of the famous F-S Knife. Here they are:
