the work place sheeple of the future

tHE SCUM OF THE EARTH ARE THE INDIVIDUALS WHO DID THIS ADVERTISING PIECE. wONDER WHO THE ADVERTISING COMPANY IS?

Of the future? i'm pretty sure i've seen a few threads on here a while back of frightfully similar real life incidents by folks at work or in resteraunts.

My local convenience store was selling clampacks of an apple pre-sliced.
I agree the ad was mocking the sheeple, not the fox who caught the chicken. :)

I have seen this woman in another chicken or food commercial, and even though the ad wasant about knives, it was not any better. What`s interesting is that they will stick with the same person in future ads, no matter how ridiculous they are.

heck I got a reaction almost like that at a resturant when I pulled my knife to cut my chicken fried steak from a lady at the next table over, the knife that I was given was bent all to hell and dull as a butter knife so I just used mine.

I went to open a box at work once with my Benchmade Grip and was told that "I am not sure if they allow knives that big here." Seriously a Grip isnt that big of a knife in the whole scheme of things. Stupid sheeple.

Someone posted a thread about this over in the political forum too.

Either way, I LOL'd the first time I saw this ad, and it still makes me chuckle.

As a friend of mine used to say, it may be the lowest form of humor-appreciation, but "it's funny because it's true"

Looks okay to me. The point of it is obviously that we should be laughing at all the fools running around freaking out.

that's one thing nice about living in white trash land as long as you stay out of little rock you don't have a lot of sheeple running around.

Does the word "sheeple" bother anyone else? I collect knives and get kind of frustrated with people who may react negatively to seeing a knife in public, but I think it's naive to think that any concern a person may show towards someone brandishing a knife in public is unwarranted regardless. Sure, I want to take out a big folder in the middle of an office and cut the loose string from my shirt with no gasps but it's understandable for some people to be concerned. It's a very snobby attitude to expect people to automatically accept someone whipping out a knife in the middle of public just because we think it's okay.

Not really. It's reasonable to be fearful if someone is brandishing a weapon in a threatening manner. The mere presence of a knife that is visible, or is being used as a tool should not be a cause for fear. Some people should grow up.

I see your point Homer49 but i have to disagree. to panic just because someone pulls out a tool to do a job, which is what a knife is, and performs a task without any threatening jester to the bystander is ridiculous. More to the point it shows a lack of self reliance/self assurance which is unfortunately becoming the norm in american society today. In the past the attitude was i'll do it myself, now the thinking is that the government will have to take care of it or do it for me. I'm afraid we are indeed becoming, as a nation, very weak. just my opinion I could be wrong i've been wrong before.

I prefer to use the term "blade challenged" in my posts, since we are talking about a mental deficiency.

That is a Kentucky fried Chicken ad. And she has a plastic serrated knife that comes in the plastic bagged pack, along with a napkin and fork. Of course she needs a knife she says, it's real food.
I work in an office and everybody knows I carry big knives to work. Since anyone can walk in our business off the street and be right in among us in a flash some of my fellow workers are glad i have a means to protect us. We have had some really weird people come in that don't need anything legit. Sensible people aren't scared of objects as long as they know the bearer is sane.

I think the term sheeple more refers to people who want the goverment to protect them like a sheppard protects his sheep.
