Hey guys,
Have any of you read the book "The Working Folding Knife" by Steven Dick? I was going through a magazine and saw the ad for it. Is it worth buying?
Let me know what you think?
Thanks,
Chip

I think it is an excellent general knowledge book. Keep in mind any book is going to be a couple of years out of date from the current knives, but the good information is still there.

Ken Warner "The Practical Book of Knives" (I think that is the title) is another book (much older) that is worth reading.

I own a copy of this book and find it to be outstanding. Some of the info ia a little outof date but that is to be expected. It is a very good source book and a good book for the person who is into knives . Buy it . The book is worth the price.

I have a copy and I like it a lot. It has much good advice and contains a lot of plain good common sense. Just think of it as a point on a continuum or one scene in a movie, the story is continuing.

I just bought a copy of it the other day, and it's worth every penny. Offhand, I believe the copyright was 1998, so it's not as old as some of the other's I've purchased recently.

I collect mostly fixed bladed knives. But, that didn't keep me from getting a copy of this book and enjoying it thoroughly.

go ahead and get it.
I like it very much. made me buy another knife
