The "WOW" Factor

I have received a few Busses over more than a few years, but I don't think that the "WOW" factor has ever been as high for a new knife as it was today when I opened the box containing my new FBM Prototype. What a knife!

This is absolutely the best of my big, impractical knives that I will never use.:D But the fondle factor is awesome.
 
i know what you mean. i have a hardcore USED steel heart on the way, and i can't friggin' wait! :D

I can attest. It's hard core. Beat me by 20 minutes. LOL


Good score, Hank. That blade was nice and the price was SOOOO sweet.
 
For me, the aluminum handle AK47 takes the cake. It is an air slicer extrordinare.

Next is the FBMLE for it's size and satin finish goodness.

Then the SOW which is plain sexy.

yeah, i almost feel like thief for that one. sure, it's no $100 gun show SHSH like some people have grabbed, but i think i did alright on that one. :thumbup:

Impractical?! What makes it impractical......it is better than any Crash Rat HOGFSH, SHBM, FBM, BM-E, Rat Daddy or any other large chopper I have EVER used...it is a shame it was so limited......this should be implemented as a standard run! The handle is unbeatable, the chopping power is untouchable!!! That is the perfect Busse Blade!!!!

I got to handle one of Jason's and it really is a WOW knife...
 
Like a wise old friend of mine told me: "thats why they make 31 flavors".
Once you have a few users of varying sizes for varying tasks, they all become impractical. Especially the safe queens. Now that doesnt mean we dont love them and we won't have more of them but by the very definition of practical, you only have 2 hands, and it doesnt take a thousand dollar work of art (but thanks Jerry, keep cranking them out) to chop a little wood. A truly top notch hatchet cost well under a hundred.
I have no use for my AK at all but I still like it. Zombies have been few and far between in the metroplex for quite some time.
 
IMO, the biggest WOW factor was with the Sage HFBM, it feels and is more massive than all the other BM's and that handle just did it for me.
 
I got the black/green handle.

As for the "impractical" comment, I knew that would get a rise or two.:D Like beauty, practicality is in the eyes of the beholder.
