The Yata

The Yata was inspired by the Yataghan sword. A recurve double edge fighter. It is 9.5" overal with a 5.5" blade. It is made from 3/16" D2. The handle is canvas Micarta. This will probably be the only one like this. I have a new blade shape idea and I want to make it longer.

While I am not a sheath making expert, looking at the one I made for the Yata looks, welll, not very good in this picture. I am going to make another.
