When I 1st made the models for the YCS and her tool's I really wanted to get them posted so everyone could see them.
A friend of mine with a computer told me he could help me out since I was on WebTV and couldn't do it myself.
Charlie scanned the YCS and the tools and fixed it up where I could send them to Uncle Bill, but all he got was a text file.
Rusty jumped in and saved the day, finally getting the pix into a format that Uncle Bill could see and post.
However I don't remember if this pic was posted. I saved it knowing I wouldn't be able to get the models back and I wanted some kind of provenance to the YCS. I have the 1st model I started and this pic to give me that.:)

Since Uncle Bill has been getting the YCS's in with an awl that doesn't have a point, we assume it broke off and the kamis are making what they can see, I thought that perhaps this pic sent to Gelbu might give the kamis an idea of what the awl should be like.
Blues was gracious enough to help me resize the pic so I could post it, it was way tooo biiigg, and hopefully it will come up. This is the 1st time I will have posted a pic besides my avatar.
I hope it works.:D

 Who, me? Well, if you say so. ( Come to think of it are you sure? I mean it sounds like something I'd try but screw up. Hmmm. )

The awls continue to come in with an 1/8th inch off the tip. I'll send the pix over and hope the don't start sending wood replicas.

The models sent over go in some sacred place not to be touched by anybody and the kamis try to follow them religiously. I shudder at the thought of a model getting a serious ding somewhere.

This post will also give some of the guys who want to make models an example of what they should be like.
The model of the YCS is back in past threads somewhere and is much more detailed than these.
It was painted and had paper cutouts glued on for the diamonds and the Yin Yang symbols.

I don't know if I'm gonna have the Bowie model done before you get here as I was hoping to do. It seems like if it ain't one dayumed thing it's another.
We're having a new furnace and central air installed today, hopefully they will get it done tonight.
It's 8:40 p.m. here and they're still working!!!!
I have lived with a window unit in the living room wall for 20 years and it's done a good enough job of keeping the house cool, but it's really gonna be nice to not have to listen to it run all summer long.:D
The new inside unit is much, much quieter than the old furnace was as well.
We ain't gonna know how to act.;)

Bro,

You're models have always looked as good or better than the real thing!

Yeah it was you whether you remeber it or not.:D
And it won't be forgotten by me, I hope, see below.

And remember what was being discussed on the forums not long ago about us old pharts not being as good as we once was?
Well little Bro I hate to be the one who tells you this, but the memory is the 1st to go.:)
