This is a new thread on the same subject -- safety! The old thread was too long.

In case anybody is wondering the khukuri is a 20 inch Ang Khola.

Blessings from the computer shack in Reno.

Ya gotta ask yerself, do I really want my fingers? If not don't bother reading this... BTTT

I should get a hard copy of this pic and put it next to my khukuris. No matter what I tell them, no matter what they think, people invariably pull the knife out wrong.
Keep posting these pictures Uncle. The refresher course should save some fingers.

I was always taught that the khukri is the master, it will teach you, and it will disipline you... Respect the knife

A guy walks up to the check out lane of a super market. He has a cart full of grocieries. The checkout lane is clearly marked "express lane 12 items or less". The clerk looks at the guy and asks" are you a student at Harvard or MIT?" The guy looks at the clerk and with a surprised look says, "Why, yes how did you know I was going to MIT?" The clerk responds, "Simple, I knew you were a student at Harvard or MIT becuase the Harvard kids can't add, and the MIT kids can't read.
