From now on, they will have to say tanks are built like a ZT0200! :D

Nice BEEFY liner lock!!!

One of the best built heavy duty folders I have seen in a long time!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I agree. I have an interesting display on my desk these days. i keep my ZT 200 handy and my Severtech auto next to it. Both blades and handles are the same length but otherwise 2 very different, very massive knives. Heavy metal! :D

Yup, nobody will be carrying a ZT0200 in pants without a belt....for long anyway! :D

I love mine. I've found that it rides really well in your pocket. When I clip it in my pocket, it feels much smaller and lighter than it is. Quite comfortable, and I only need to wear a belt with loose pants.

My one complaint is that the clip is *way* too tight. Out of the box, it was tight enough to tear fabric clipping it on or taking it off.

That liner lock is as beefy as some frame locks...

Actually, the more I think about it, it's more a frame lock design overlaid with G10 scales...after seeing pics of joejeweler's disassembly prior to his Baby 0200 mod...the locking liner (which is the full liner, not an embedded layer), looks almost 1/2 the blade thickness, much beefier than any normal liner lock.

Nice pics.

I'll probably get one this spring, but the more you guys show off that knife the more I want one.
I'm pretty sure it'll end up being one of my favorite models.

Yep,.....i adjusted mine out of the box to have a couple of millimeters of "gap" so i can clip to my upper pant lip without wearing the fabric,.......and my belt covers most of the clip making it invisable when carrying inside my pants. (i pull a bit of my t-shirt up to make a flap to cover the top of the knife)

............it still stays in place all day when carrying,.......even when sitting down doing my "business"! :)

BTW,.....this knife has the PERFECT clip size to keep a low profile when wearing. Some of the other large knives have way too big clips attached,............are just too showy. I don't want to advertize i'm carrying..........

Same here.

It grabbed my pocket a little to well at first, it would take 2-3 yanks to get it loose!

Yes,.....but inquiring minds may wonder if putting a little gap in the clip would lessen the functionality of the clip.

.....i figured if i put all my chips on the board (or in the bowl as it were ;) ),........those wondering would feel more confident in adjusting their clip a bit!

.........so i took one for the team! :D

To much information!!!! :barf::barf::barf: ;)

I am so in love with the 0200...this will be one of the next knives I buy! Great looking specimen of tank ya got there, 'Fed!

Yes, I would have to agree... for quite awhile now I have wondered whether the 0200 relationships might be becoming a tad unhealthy. As soon as we started talking about what we do with our tools while on the can, that's where I draw the line.:barf::D

With so much unrelenting praise, it's kind of a wonder I haven't bought one to try out. Maybe because its too close to the 0301 for me... but I see the value if you don't want to spend twice as much.

I've actually been migrating towards smaller tank-like knives. those that are built like tanks but still function smooth as warm butter. Well, that and I work in a monkey suit environment ;)

I hope to someday try one out

Love the look, and heard so much about the ZT line I am gonna HAVE to try one. So what is the classification again, the 200 series has the flipper, the 300 series is assisted?

I have noticed that folks who do not have, and have never handled a ZT0200 are sorta lukewarm towards the knife, but as soon as they get one it goes from lukewarm to HOT DAMN, WHAT A KNIFE! This was exactly my reaction when I got mine. The reason was simple for me, as I figured there is no way a $130 knife could be as good as what I was hearing it to be. Man alive, did Kershaw ever fool me!!! I have said it several times, in several post's, but it bears repeating one more time, Kershaw has produced a knife they could probably sale for twice the price and sale every one they produce. The whole package is top notch in all departments, and I am happy I took the plunge on one!

I gotta agree with cutter17, I haven't yet taken the step into expensive high end custom folders, but I can't imagine that they could be much better than this knife.
