I seems that I missed the boat on these again, today. Can someone explain how there are more s90v Manix 2 available.Haven't the run of 400 been sold out already. So far, I know of there is one other dealer that has these but at retail.

They are sold out, as far as Spyderco having any. Whatever you see out there is part of the run of 400. And more than likely at a higher price than they sold for when widely available. No big surprise there!

What's the guy asking for the Knife? I tried google to see if any are still at retail and only found one in an auction format.

I just ordered one, it says they're in stock, but we'll see. I hope so, I'd like to have an extra for a user. There must have been another small wave that came out from the 400, I noticed another retailer advertising them yesterday but they're showing out of stock today.

On Friday morning,I saw that Roger had them for $170 but when I tried to add one to my cart their website wouldn't let me.So I brought it to their attention but I didn't get their message till late in the day when I found they were sold out.

I got an order confirmation yesterday, but I know the stock isn't "live" at Knife Center. They are still showing as in stock so we'll see if I get a shipping confirmation tomorrow.

Sweet! Got a shipping confirmation today, so there were a few left. They're out of stock now, hope some other folks scored one!

Knifecenter seems to indicate that you can pre-order. Is Spyderco doing another run of these?

Sal has mentioned that there won't be another run with the specific S90V/carbon fiber combination. The Manix 2 is going to be used as an experimental platform for future steels & handle materials [kind of like the Military]. He has recently said that there is a flat ground G-10 version in the works with an unspecified G-10 color.

I called KnifeCenter and the customer service rep said that they are getting their stock from either a distributor or straight from Spyderco. Maybe these are overrun pieces?

I'm hoping Sal found a box of S90V Manix2's in a dusty corner somewhere. :)
