I did a search for Khuk's online and came across their website. Nice Khuks from the pics, but nowhere could I find a warranty statement. Anyone own one from them?

Cliff Stamp has played around with a few. He talks about them here:

While a potentially expensive hobby, testing knives to destruction can be good fun. I've got a khuk from a well known manufacturer (not Khukuri House) on its way to me as we speak; it will be interesting to see how it holds up. From what I've read of it, I'm not expecting much but I've been surprised in the past.

And yes, I'm planning to capture it burning down on tape. More to come when it arrives.

I'm new to this Satori, I have been looking at various sites trying to make up my mind, so I will be interested in the report on the khukuri you have ordered, which khukuri house is it?

Thank you Yoshi

Welcome, Yoshi:)
If you are looking for a khukuri, then you can't go wrong with Himalayan Imports. They offer the best khuks that can be had. The other guys might have a cheaper sticker price, but by the time you factor in shipping they can be higher than HI's prices... depending on where in the world you live, of course;) Satori will do a great review when he gets "the other guy's" blade. He always does.
Thanks again for posting:)

Thank you Steely Gunz, I have narrowed my selection down too HI Khukuri and one other, but I will wait for Satori's review first.

They have some interesting stuff but when you figure that they want $35.00 to ship a $39.00 knife the bargain goes south on you real quick.

Yoshi - I'm not expecting to receive it until later on this month. It's backordered. I'm unsure how long it will take me to break it once it arrives, or even if it will break at all. We'll see.

For what it's worth, I don't believe that you can go wrong with HI. Every one that I've owned has been Satori-proof, which says a lot to me.
